Christmas Tree
3D-model
Decorated Christmas trees have been used in Germany since the 15th century. Invented by Boniface, an English missionary there in the eighth century. He then hung the spruce upside down on the ceiling to explain the trinity.
The first modern, documented indoor Christmas tree in Sweden is from 1740. At the end of the 19th century, it was common in most Swedish homes. Long ago, however, there were spruce shrubs that were put out on the farms' yards to keep evil creatures away. Even decorated twigs and trees indoors appeared early.
Christmas crackers or "smällkaramell" in Swedish. In this form as a common, reusable, Christmas decoration in Sweden since around 1870. Material: pleated silk tissue paper.
